We're very excited to be sharing another milestone session with you! Welcome to Emily's 6-month session! We last saw this family for Emily's 3-month session. Here we are 3 whole months later, and like most holidays in a baby's first trip around the sun, Emily's first Christmas is certainly a big occasion for this adorable family.
Beth and Dave love Christmas so much that they decorated for it early, so it made perfect sense to take advantage of the beauty of the season by shooting this session at their home. Of course we made sure to get some photos in front of their tree, and I spy a couple penguin ornaments in these photos...a nod to their ongoing inside penguin-shark joke. In addition to the photos in front of the tree, we captured images in their master bedroom, in the nursery, in the front and backyard, and in their living room. We had to rearrange some of the furniture in order to accommodate my off-camera flash, but this didn't seem to bother Emily in the least. She felt at ease the whole time, and everything went just as planned.
This is such a fun family, and this is going to be an absolutely magical Christmas for them! I look forward to capturing Emily's next session after the holidays. I’m sure she's going to be doing lots of new things, and I can’t wait to watch her personality continue to unfold. Until then, let's celebrate the season with these precious images!
