Katie and Zac met through a dating app in 2016, and they have been building on their story ever since. In May 2020, 4 years after their first date watching Fight Club at her parents' home, Zac took Katie to Funks Grove where the two had many dates in the beginning of their relationship. He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and here we are! They were also recently married in the chapel at Funks Grove, but you'll have to stay tuned for those beautiful images.
Earlier this Spring, I got a chance to get to know Katie and Zac more as I took their engagement photos (this is something special that I offer free of charge to all my wedding clients). Not only did we get the chance to talk about what was important to them in their wedding photos, but I also got to learn a lot more about their story.
They told me how they enjoy drinking good coffee, thrifting, fishing, hiking, visiting with family, Saturday adventuring and just being together. They also love spending time playing board games and video games with Zac’s son, Holden. One of their favorite places to visit is Indianapolis, though they also really like staying in and exploring cities that people don’t normally visit. This pair quit smoking together, too! Good job, guys!
