Welcome to Ezra's Crib

Baby Ezra was born in late July, and I'm beyond happy to share some of the photos from his newborn session! Sometimes babies are sleepy during their newborn session, and sometimes they're not. Ezra was the latter. He was such an alert and enthusiastic little subject during his session, and he made the cutest little faces throughout our time together. He clearly doesn't want to miss ANYTHING. Let's face it, this world is pretty exciting after all, isn't it?

Ezra's nursery is elephant-themed with a calmingly cool color scheme comprised of gray and white with some light teal accents. A sign hung on the wall in his room reads, "Welcome to My Crib." Why, thank you for your hospitality, Ezra! It was my pleasure to visit you in your natural environment and document your special space in its original form. Your room will undoubtedly change over time. As you get bigger, you'll acquire more possessions. You'll win trophies and awards that require shelves for displaying. You'll develop your own interests. Your space will evolve with you. Long after you're grown, these photos will serve as a time machine allowing you to see what your room looked like when you first came into this world.

In addition to the photos we captured in Ezra's nursery, we also took advantage of a pretty summer afternoon with some outdoor photos around the grounds of Ewing Cultural Center in Bloomington. Ezra's mom and dad, Andra and Jordan, hope that he will be athletic like Mom and artistic like Dad. What a wonderful combo that would be! I know you'll accomplish amazing things, Ezra! It was so wonderful to meet you!
