With Emily’s personality really beginning to bloom, Peoria’s Luthy Botanical Garden seemed to be an appropriate setting for her recent 9-month session. Miss Emily had such a great time playing in the warm temps of the garden. She recently began cruising, and she was happy to practice cruising around to do some investigating, leading to some really cute facial expressions.
It's been three whole months since Emily's 6-month session. Let's take a moment to reacquaint ourselves. When she's not busy cruising around Luthy Botanical Garden, Emily loves dancing to the music of Encanto. She loves to laugh, and like most other babies learning to move around on their own for the first time, she hates being confined. This certainly keeps Beth and Dave on their toes as they learn to navigate life with a baby on the move. Remember the penguin and shark thing this family has going on? Emily's current favorite book is a little finger puppet penguin book. With her personality and independence growing daily, Beth and Dave are fascinated and terrified at how fast their little Emmy is developing! She's goofy like Dad and sassy like Mom. What a fantastic combination!
Following our indoor shots, we were even able to go outside for a few quick snow photos before the fun was over and it was nap time. Emily's first birthday is just around the corner, and I'm already looking forward to that exciting milestone session with this wonderful family!
